From what I've seen the Elgato EyeTV Hybrid TV Tuner Stick seems to be exactly what I'm looking for, but it looks like it was discontinued a few years ago and the very few I have seen for sale are $250+It seems like most of the other ones available only work for PCs.

Also, what about software? Does anyone have experience with this? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I don't think anyone makes them anymore, but you could find older ones on eBay.
